Paul Leveré was a French artist born in 1875 and died in 1949.  Leveré was a faithful representative of Provencal painting who was employed by Trams before becoming Professor of Fine Arts in Toulon.  Leveré was also a contributor to the magazine La Provence Illustrée.  He almost only ever painted the Toulon coast. Leveré has several paintings exhibited at the Toulon Museum
